John Warner received the Mahler Foundation’s inaugural Mahler Award at Het Concertgebouw in 2025. He has appeared with orchestras and opera houses across Europe and Asia, from the Berliner Symphoniker and Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg to the Beijing Music Festival. From 2026 he joins Musiktheater im Revier in Gelsenkirchen as Principal Conductor (1. Kapellmeister). He is the founder and Artistic Director of Orchestra for the Earth, and serves as Principal Guest Conductor of Oxford Opera.
